Welcome To The Auction!

The Lake Traverse Animal Rezcue works to improve the lives of animals on the Lake Traverse Reservation, which is located on the South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota borders.  We remove abused, neglected and unwanted animals from the area, get them to safety in our foster homes, then transport them to rescue groups for rehoming.  Because of animal over population issues in the area, we do not do adoptions ourselves.  We also provide free spay/neuter and vaccination clinics for animals living on the reservation.  Since we don't do adoptions, our only income is through fundraising and donations.

We began our rescue in November 2010, and have removed over 2500 animals from the reservation, and have fully vetted just over 1500 animals that remain on the reservation.

In August we have the opportunity to work with Valley Vet Clinic for a one day spay/neuter clinic.  This will allow us to fully vet more animals this year than we did last year.  The one day event will cost us $1250 for surgeries, plus additional fees for vaccines.  Proceeds from this auction will help us pay for this clinic.
